As a Staff Engineer, I do far more than write code. I lead a small team of engineers, comfortably wear many hats, and work directly alongside stakeholders, gathering requirements firsthand and turning their feedback into same-day changes. I've found that being a self-sufficient engineer who can own a problem end to end, from the conversation to the deploy, is what lets me deliver value quickly and consistently.
I stay at the forefront of software engineering by continually adopting the tools and techniques that push the craft forward. I was an early adopter of AI-assisted development, and after integrating it into my daily workflow over the past several years, I've built a strong intuition for using it to amplify my output without sacrificing quality.
As a technology enthusiast, I'm particularly passionate about the BEAM ecosystem, messaging frameworks, web sockets, and innovative database solutions. I care deeply about building performant, scalable systems, and about the people and processes that make great software possible.
